There are many type of PVC Valves. PVC valves are used in systems to control the flow of the media and to allow for repair on the pipe system. The most common PVC valves are true union ball valves, true union check valves, compact ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, diaphragm valves, and swing check valves. The valves range in size for each type but are all pressure tested at 150PSI. PVC Valves are designed to be installed with glue, thread tape or by a flange system. PVC Valves are used in waste water treatment plants, chemical stations, water parks, aquariums, swimming pool, and irrigation applications. These valves are manufactured with EPDM or Viton seals. PVC valves can come in white, gray, clear, schedule 80 and schedule 80 CPVC.
