Hayward Simplex and Duplex baskets strainers have one plastic basket standard per strainer body. For Simplex strainers, this is one and with Duplex strainers, this is two. Substitutions or replacements are offered in various materials, such as 316 SSTL, Hastelloy™ (contact factory), Monel™ (contact factory) or Titanium.
It is recommended that one spare basket per strainer be kept on hand at all times.
