PVC Duct Elbows

PVC duct elbows are ductwork pipe fittings used to change the flow direction of air or gasses within a ventilation system by a set angle. PVC duct elbows come in 90 degree and 45 degree fittings. These angles provide a consistent and reliable directional change. Their design minimizes flow resistance and turbulence to maintain airflow that is stable and efficient. PVC duct elbows work to provide a curved path that allows air to be routed at an angle different from the original duct direction to complete system design and installation as needed. They are made specifically for use in ductwork and ventilation systems to transport air, gasses, fumes, exhausts, and waste emissions that may contain odors, dust, or other particulates to a point of release or treatment.

Our PVC duct 90 degree and 45 degree elbow fittings are USA made by Harrison Machine and Plastic under the trade name SUPERDUCT®, one of the nation’s top manufacturers and brands of thermoplastic ductwork. PVC ductwork and elbows are to be used with air and compatible gaseous media in open air, non-pressurized applications only. They are not for use in pressure systems, with liquids, or with known incompatible chemicals. Always verify chemical compatibility prior to use.

PVC Duct Elbow Sizes and Options

PVC duct elbow sizes range from 2″ to 24″ in Iron Pipe Size (IPS) diameter. Large duct elbow fittings up to 60" in diameter are available on request. We offer a full size selection and the ability to meet custom size requirements as part of our commitment to precision, performance, and project completion.

PVC duct elbows come with belled socket type connection joints. For installation, use a professional quality PVC primer and cement for a secure fit. For large duct fittings above 14″, hot air welding is recommended.

Features and Benefits

Harrison SUPERDUCT® PVC elbow fittings are chosen and trusted for their overall superior quality, mechanical durability, and chemical resistance to many common fumes and gaseous media that allow their use across a wide range of applications. They are light in weight without compromising lasting strength, making installation easier and providing a service life that is on average longer compared to metal ductwork.

  • PVC Material: Heavy duty thermoplastic with excellent corrosion resistance and durability that will not rust or degrade.
  • Chemical Resistance: Resistant to many acids, alkalis, alcohols and their gasses, fumes, and vapors.
  • Multiple Options: 45 degree duct elbows and 90 degree duct elbows
  • Hard Working: Engineered for long term service and minimal maintenance to keep ductwork systems running.
  • Airtight: Will provide a secure, long lasting seal when properly installed.
  • Easy to Install: Lightweight and impact resistant for easy handling and installation.

Applications and Uses

Common uses for PVC duct elbows include industrial HVAC systems in factories, warehouses, and large commercial buildings, in ventilation systems for public buildings, agricultural applications, and in laboratories. PVC duct elbows are often used in applications that require the ventilation of corrosive fumes or in areas with significant moisture exposure that benefit from the resistance and durability of PVC thermoplastic.

Harrison PVC SUPERDUCT® elbow fittings are a leading choice in quality and performance, trusted by professionals for decades. They are precision engineered to deliver the reliable, long lasting service that ductwork systems require. Manufactured to the highest standards and from premium materials, our ductwork pipe supplies are made to exceed requirements. For more information or details on contractor pricing, contact us.
