CPVC Duct Couplings
Bidding a job & need contractor pricing?
We've got you covered!

CPVC duct couplings are used in ductwork systems to join two pieces of CPVC duct pipe. CPVC couplers are a key component in creating secure, airtight fits between straight sections. The couplings are primarily used to connect lengths of CPVC duct piping and allow for the construction of extensive duct networks. They are used for ventilation, air conditioning, chemical fume extraction, exhaust treatment, fume scrubbers, and other industrial applications that require handling corrosive substances. CPVC duct couplings are sleeve type fittings that work by sliding over the ends of two adjacent CPVC duct pipes. The couplers require solvent cement or hot air welding installation to create a permanent and leakproof joint. CPVC duct couplings are used for their improved resistance to environmental corrosion, high temperatures, and chemical exposure. These characteristics make CPVC couplers ideal for use in harsh, hardworking applications where other materials may fail. Their overall durability helps to extend the service life of ductwork and ventilation systems and reduces overall maintenance needs.
The duct couplings are made from Corzan® Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC), a heavy duty thermoplastic material. CPVC plastic offers high impact strength, excellent fire resistance, low flame spread, resistance to a wide range of chemicals, and the ability to handle temperatures up to 200°F. CPVC industrial duct couplers are designed to join ducting pipes in ventilation systems used to handle the movement, release, or treatment of air or exhaust that may contain fumes, gasses, dust, particulates, or vapors.
These are USA made CPVC duct couplings built by Harrison Machine and Plastic® under the trade name SUPERDUCT®, one of the nation’s top manufacturers and brands of thermoplastic ductwork. SUPERDUCT® couplings are to be used with air and compatible gaseous media in open air, non-pressurized applications only. They are not for use in pressure systems, with liquids, or with known incompatible chemicals. Always verify chemical compatibility prior to use.
CPVC Duct Coupling Sizes and Options
CPVC duct coupling sizes range from 2″ to 24″ in Iron Pipe Size (IPS) diameter. Coupler types include reducer couplings, rolled reducer couplings, flex hose adapters, and sleeved couplings. CPVC reducer couplings range from 3″ x 2″ to 18″ x 16″ in size. CPVC rolled reducer couplings range from 3″ x 2″ to 24″ x 20″ in size. Available CPVC flex hose adapters range from 2″ to 12″ in size.
For installation, a quality CPVC primer and solvent cement suited to the work environment are recommended for duct couplings up to 14" in size. Hot air welding is recommended for CPVC duct couplings larger than 14″ in size.
Technical Specifications
These heavy duty duct couplings are made from professional grade CPVC (Corzan®) material. The couplings are engineered to meet ASTM D1784 quality standards and ASTM testing standards for CPVC ductwork. These standards ensure the couplings meet high levels of durability, temperature resistance, and chemical resistance for safety and reliability. They are manufactured for product purity, consistency, and performance to deliver durable and long lasting joints across ventilation systems and application types.
