CPVC Duct Tees
Bidding a job & need contractor pricing?
We've got you covered!

CPVC duct tees are pipe fittings designed for use in specific ductwork systems and setups. They have a distinct T shape and 90 degree sockets for connecting three segments of duct pipe. CPVC duct tees are primarily used to split the flow of corrosive fumes, air, or exhaust into two directions or to combine flows from two lines into a single direction. They are often installed where the main duct runs through one side of the tee with a branch line on the side to handle the system air media. CPVC duct tees are used for their improved resistance to chemicals and corrosive materials, ability to handle high temperatures, overall durability, and long lasting service. They are often used in industrial and institutional applications that involve transporting hazardous, corrosive, and/or contaminated fumes, vapors, exhaust, VOCs, dust, or particulates from onsite activities. CPVC duct tees are suitable for ventilation systems designed to allow their use where a duct wye would otherwise be required. CPVC duct tees are commonly used in industrial HVAC applications, laboratory settings, production environments, manufacturing facilities, and to connect equipment and fume scrubbers to the ventilation system.
These are USA made CPVC duct tees built by Harrison Machine and Plastic® under the trade name SUPERDUCT®, one of the nation’s top manufacturers and brands of thermoplastic ductwork. CPVC SUPERDUCT® tees are to be used with air and compatible gaseous media in open air, non-pressurized applications only. They are not for use in pressure systems, with liquids, or with known incompatible chemicals. Always verify chemical compatibility prior to use.
CPVC Duct Tee Sizes and Options
CPVC duct tee sizes range from 2″ to 24″ in diameter and Iron Pipe Size (IPS) sizing standard. Several CPVC duct reducing tee sizes are also available. The fittings have belled end socket connections for straightforward installation with plain end duct pipe. When installing fittings up to 14" in size, solvent welding can be used. For fittings over 14″ in size, hot air weld installation is recommended.
Technical Specifications
CPVC duct tee fittings are made from industrial grade Corzan® virgin CPVC thermoplastic that meets FM4910 specification and ASTM D1784 standards. The fittings have been tested and certified to meet and/or exceed ASTM requirements for CPVC ductwork. They are engineered and manufactured from high purity materials for product consistency and reliability in performance, mechanical strength, chemical resistance, working temperature ranges, and fire, flame spread, and smoke generation properties.
