PVC Duct Wyes

PVC duct wyes are ductwork fittings with a Y-shaped design. They are made to split a single airflow path into two directions or combine two separate lines into one. PVC duct wye fittings are primarily used for distributing air, gasses, or exhaust waste in structural, onsite ventilation systems. They are used to provide airflow management in various settings, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) applications, manufacturing and equipment exhaust systems as well as laboratory and industrial air handling units. PVC ductwork and wyes are to be used with air and compatible gaseous media in open air, non-pressurized applications only. They are not for use in pressure systems, with liquids, or with known incompatible chemicals. Always verify chemical compatibility prior to use. 

PVC duct wye sizes range from 2″ up to 24″ in Iron Pipe Size (IPS) diameter. Large duct wyes are available on request in sizes up to 60″ in diameter. These fittings come in standard, reducing, and true duct wye types. 

PVC duct wyes come with belled socket type connection joints. For installation, use a professional quality PVC primer and cement for a secure fit. For large duct fittings above 14″, hot air welding is recommended.

PVC duct wyes are fabricated from industrial grade, premium quality PVC material that meets ASTM D1784 standards for high purity, consistency, and overall reliable performance.
