Schedule 40 PVC Saddles
Bidding a job & need contractor pricing?
We've got you covered!
Schedule 40 PVC saddles are used to create a quick and reliable branch in an existing pipeline. PVC saddle fittings clamp onto and around installed PVC pipe to create a 90 degree branch for adding an additional lateral connection. PVC saddles are designed to maintain structural integrity and pressure resilience while eliminating the need to disassemble, cut, or add extra fittings to an operational plumbing system. Their primary function is to allow secondary pipelines to be installed and retrofitted to a current network for expanding the distribution and management of fluids handled by the network. These fittings are also known as PVC saddle clamps and saddle tee joints. Saddle fittings are commonly used in commercial properties, manufacturing facilities, and industrial complexes to handle water, wastes, ingredients, chemicals, solutions, and proprietary mixtures.
Sch 40 PVC Saddle Sizes and Options
Schedule 40 PVC saddles fittings are available in a comprehensive selection of sizes ranging from 2” x 1/2” to 12” x 6”. Sizes are listed in primary pipe x branch pipe diameters. Saddles are available in a wide range of branch pipe sizes to accommodate the needs of different projects and work scenarios.
PVC saddle connections are either socket (SOC) or threaded (SRFPT) for the branch pipe joint. The saddle fitting connects to the primary pipeline using a clamp functionality and bolts. Saddles come in two parts designed to sit around the primary pipe and be secured in place using the provided bolts. Saddle bolts are available in either stainless steel (SS) or zinc (ZN/ZNC). O-ring gaskets ensure a leakproof seal and are available in either EPDM or Buna material.
Quality and Safety Standards
Our Schedule 40 PVC saddles are built and certified to comply with ASTM D 1784 and ASTM D 2466 standards and requirements for quality and performance. Our PVC saddle tees are USA made using only professional grade materials and manufacturing practices.
