CPVC Duct Rainskirts

CPVC duct rainskirts are used in ductwork exhaust and ventilation systems to safeguard the installation against water infiltration that could cause structural damage. Rainskirts are designed to seal around CPVC ductwork pipes at the system exit point located on the roof or side of a building. The fittings are made with a central hole that slips around a vent pipe and a beveled ridge to deflect precipitation away from the interior-to-exterior junction. CPVC duct rainskirt sizes range from 3″ up to 24″ in Iron Pipe Size (IPS) diameter. CPVC duct rainskirts are designed to fit snugly around duct piping and rest flush at the point of transition between interior and exterior. For permanent installation, duct rainskirts up to 14″ in size are often installed using CPVC cement and primer, with hot air welding recommended for CPVC rainskirt fittings above 14″ in size.

CPVC duct rainskirts are manufactured from professional quality Corzan® chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC). The rainskirts have been made to ASTM D1784 material standards. They have been inspected, tested, and certified according to ASTM ductwork testing standards for grade, strength, temperature range, and chemical resistance.
