PVC Duct Rain Caps

PVC duct rain caps are specialized fittings made to protect the termination points of ventilation, exhaust, or duct systems. PVC duct rain caps come in two types, commonly referred to as Style A and Style B. Style B rain caps have a narrow top design and are often used in applications where a smaller profile is required. SUPERDUCT® rain caps are to be used with air and compatible gaseous media in open air, non-pressurized applications only. They are not for use in pressure systems, with liquids, or with known incompatible chemicals. Always verify chemical compatibility prior to use. 

PVC duct rain cap sizes range from 2″ up to 34″ in Iron Pipe Size (IPS) diameter. The fittings come with a belled end socket type connection joint. For installation, recommendations are to use professional PVC primer and solvent cement for rain caps up to 14″ in size and hot air welding on rain caps larger than 14″ in size.
