CPVC Duct Caps
Bidding a job & need contractor pricing?
We've got you covered!

CPVC duct caps are used to seal off the open ends of CPVC ductwork temporarily or permanently. The caps are made from chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (Corzan® CPVC) for heavy duty durability, chemical resistance, and high temperature tolerance. They are designed to fit tightly over open socket joints of CPVC pipe or fittings to provide a secure, protective seal. Duct caps are used to prevent the entry of dust, debris, or other contaminants into the duct ventilation system during construction, maintenance, or operation. They can either slip over the duct end or be welded for permanent installation to create an airtight connection resistant to leaks and external conditions. CPVC duct caps are used to maintain the cleanliness and integrity of CPVC duct systems, especially in industrial HVAC applications, by protecting against contamination or blockages that could affect airflow or quality. The caps are suitable for ventilation systems that handle air or exhaust that may contain fumes, gasses, dust, particulates, or vapors.
These are USA made CPVC duct caps built by Harrison Machine and Plastic® under the trade name SUPERDUCT®, one of the nation’s top manufacturers and brands of thermoplastic ductwork. SUPERDUCT® caps are to be used with air and compatible gaseous media in open air, non-pressurized applications only. They are not for use in pressure systems, with liquids, or with known incompatible chemicals. Always verify chemical compatibility prior to use.
CPVC Duct Cap Sizes and Options
CPVC duct cap fittings come in a full selection of sizes ranging from 2″ to 24″ in diameter. They are made to Iron Pipe Size (IPS) diameter and come with a single belled end socket. For installation of CPVC duct caps up to 14" in size, a quality CPVC primer and solvent cement are recommended. For CPVC duct caps larger than 14″ in size, hot air welding is recommended.
Technical Specifications
CPVC duct cap fittings are manufactured from professional grade Corzan® CPVC material that meets ASTM D1784 standard requirements. They have been tested and certified to ASTM ductwork standards for purity, physical and chemical durability, temperature tolerance, and flame spread properties. CPVC duct caps are engineered to be safe, dependable, and of consistent quality to provide long term performance in securing open ends of CPVC ducting systems.
