Double Containment Couplings

Fitting types include standard dual pipe couplings and specialized isolation couplings. Double containment isolation couplings feature an internal wall that functions as a barrier to isolate pipeline segments to greatly improve the ability of identifying leak locations. 

Double containment couplings come with separate internal carrier and external containment fittings in slip on socket joint configuration. Carrier fittings come with extenders to allow connections between carrier pipe components. DC couplings can be used with standard PVC or CPVC pipe, dual layer pipe, or clear piping. Double containment couplers are intended for solvent weld installation using primer and cement appropriate to the select fitting material and site conditions.
