They are protective and preventive fittings designed to minimize the potential risk of damage and operation loss that can occur in a ventilation system from rain infiltration, debris accumulation, or animal intrusion. These Style A Rain Caps are USA made and manufactured from professional Type IV Grade I FM 4910 Corzan® CPVC per ASTM D1784 specifications. Their technical specifications and material quality offer superior mechanical strength, chemical compatibility, and environmental corrosion resistance to deliver a long, dependable service life across weather conditions and ventilation applications.
CPVC Duct Rain Caps Style A are engineered with a roof type overhang that works as a cover to deflect precipitation and other external contaminants. This design effectively protects the ductwork while still allowing system operation. SUPERDUCT® CPVC Style A Rain Caps come in a full range of sizes from 2″ to 24″ to match different ductwork systems and project needs. The duct fittings are made to Iron Pipe Size (IPS) sizing standard and come with a belled end socket connection.
