Nibco® Chemtrol® natural PVDF nipples are injection molded polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) thermoplastic fittings. They are used to convert pipe end connections from socket to male threaded or female threaded to male threaded. This allows connecting two female threaded pipes together or a socket and a female threaded pipe together. Natural PVDF nipple fittings are manufactured without additives or colors making them white to off white in color and certified for food grade, consumable type applications. Available natural PVDF nipples come in sizes from 1/2" to 2" NPS in diameter in various lengths from short / close up to 6 inches. They are fabricated to schedule 80 thickness. Connections are MNPT x MNPT. Chemtrol® natural PVDF nipples provide high performance chemical strength, extremely low extractable counts, resistance to weathering, rust and sunlight UV damage, high temperature threshold of 280°F ideal for long term service and quality. They are ANSI, NSF, FDA and USP certified for use in handling food and beverage ingredients, potable water, pharmaceuticals and are well suited for applications requiring the highest purity and quality assurance standards.
