GFPP swing check valves are high strength, chemically resistant backflow prevention valves for specialized industrial piping systems. Manufactured from Glass Filled Polypropylene (GFPP Cell Class 85580 per ASTM D4101), these valves combine the chemical inertness of polypropylene with the structural rigidity and temperature tolerance of glass fiber reinforcement. This durable composite material makes these valves exceptionally suited for handling harsh chemicals, acids, and solvents that might degrade other thermoplastics and for maintaining stability in heated applications.
GFPP swing check valves are designed for heavy duty industrial integration and feature ANSI 150 flanged connections to ensure secure, leak proof seals in larger piping networks. These valves use a streamlined swinging disc that maximizes flow and minimizes pressure loss. The internal disc automatically seals shut to protect pumps and equipment from reverse flow damage. GFPP swing check valves are pressure rated up to 150 PSI (70°F non-shock) and fitted with FPM seals for broad chemical compatibility and long term service.
