Icon Process Controls® chemical feed products are used to stabilize and protect chemical dosing systems. These components are used to maintain consistent flow rates (pulsation dampeners), protect metering pumps from damage (back pressure relief valves), and improve the overall safety of liquid transfer operations in flange connection pipelines (safety spray shields).
Built from professional grade PVC, Polypropylene, and PVDF, these products can withstand exposure to aggressive acids, caustics, and other corrosive chemicals. Pulsation dampeners, such as the PulsePro series, smooth out the oscillating flow from reciprocating pumps, reducing vibration and preventing pipe fatigue. Back pressure valves ensure metering pumps operate against constant pressure for high accuracy dosing. Spray shields provide an extra layer of protection for personnel by containing potential leaks or pressurized spray from failing flange connections.
