Temperature Sensors

Icon Process Controls® temperature sensors are used to precisely monitor the ongoing thermal conditions of liquids in pipelines, conveyance systems, and storage tanks. These sensors provide accurate temperature readings that allow operators to maintain optimal conditions and protect sensitive equipment or media from overheating or freezing. Made from durable, chemically resistant materials like Polypropylene and PVDF, Icon Process Controls’ temperature sensors withstand exposure to many acids, bases, and other corrosive fluids commonly used in chemical processing and wastewater treatment. For example, the TPP Series features a rugged design that integrates a temperature transmitter directly into the sensor body and converts thermal data into a standard 4-20mA output signal. This signal can be easily connected to PLCs, data loggers, and process controllers for seamless integration into automated systems.
