Schedule 80 PVC Low Extractable Pipe

Spears® Schedule 80 Low Extractable PVC Pipe is engineered for ultra pure water (UPW) systems and high purity liquid media applications. This pipe is specifically designed to minimize leaching and contamination, making it ideal for use in semiconductor manufacturing, biotechnology, and laboratory environments. Tested for dynamic and static leaching, low extractable pipe provides exceptionally low levels of extractable contaminants, anions, cations, and trace metals to ensure the highest water quality. Made from a specialized non-contaminating PVC resin, Spears low extractable pipe is NSF 61 certified and FDA Title 21 approved for food grade applications. It features ultra smooth interior walls that reduces biofilm formation and particulate generation, and is a cost effective alternative to materials like PVDF. Rated for liquid working pressures, this translucent blue pipe is available in Schedule 80 dimensions, sizes from 1/2" up to 6”, and is designed for solvent weld installation with UPW formulated cement. Spears low extractable pipe fittings and low extractable valves are also available.
