Designed to minimize leaching and contamination, low extractable pipe ensures the highest water quality for critical, sensitive environments such as semiconductor manufacturing, biotechnology, and research laboratories. Tested under semiconductor grade conditions, this pipe delivers exceptionally low levels of extractable contaminants, anions, cations, and trace metals. Made from a specialized non-contaminating PVC resin, Spears low extractable pipe is NSF 61 certified and FDA Title 21 approved for food grade applications. Its ultra smooth interior walls reduce biofilm formation and particulate generation, while its translucent blue color allows for easy monitoring of connections. Rated for pressurized systems, this pipe is made to Schedule 80 thickness and is designed for solvent weld installation with UPW formulated cement.
