Hayward® filter vessels are industry leading industrial bag filters and cartridge filters. They have been engineered to handle challenging filtration applications including those that involve corrosive, aggressive and chemical type materials. Filter vessels are plumbing line filtration equipment designed for use with either a bag filter or a cartridge filter to provide professional straining that meets an application’s individual and specific needs. Hayward filter vessels feature an all thermoplastic, injection molded, heavy duty design made to provide long service life even in harsh environments. Available Hayward filter vessels are made from PVC, CPVC or the industry leading glass filled polypropylene GFPP that offers superior reliability and performance. These filter vessels feature They are intended for installation in loop flow or in line flow configurations. They come in Size 1 single length for 16" long filters and Size 2 double length for 32" long filters. Available filter vessels come in simplex and duplex style configuration with triplex and more configurations available on request. Hayward filter vessels are ideal for and commonly used for water purification, reverse osmosis, desalinization, deionized water systems, wastewater treatment, chemical processing, food and beverage applications, aquatics, aquariums, life support systems, metal finishing, plating work, marine environments, general corrosive and industrial plumbing work use.
Hayward’s industry leader in all plastic, industrial bag filter and cartridge filter vessels are intuitively engineered inside and out. Available filter vessel models feature easy open ergonomic release handles designed to protect the vent valve installed on every filter. Hayward’s filter vessel covers are made to retain sufficient operation pressure with a hand tight seal only, no tools are required. They are designed with liquid displacing domes inside the cover that automatically returns overflow to the basket chamber. They come with solid baskets with an ergonomic lockdown handle and ring that secures the internal bag or cartridge filter. Bag filter vessels feature vertical flute slots that prevent bag catch and snag and improve flow area. Filter vessel bodies are designed to be self draining as well as seal properly and securely every time. They feature integral legs molded into the basket design that removes error from filter installation. All filter vessels have a slotted footprint that allows for easy installation and stand alone mounting.
Hayward Flow Control® brand filter vessels are available in the FLV Series and CFLV Series with important feature and specifications outlined below:
- Hayward® FLV Series – FLV Series are bag filter type filter vessels. The FLV Series features an internal basket that is intuitively designed to promote streamlined installation, removal and replacement of the bag filter. FLV Series filter vessels come in platinum GFPP with GFPP material threaded or flanged inlet and outlet connections. True union style hookups are available on some models. The FLV Series also has the option for PVC or CPVC material socket connections. Additional options include: gauge with gauge guard, pressure differential gauge with switch, cartridge adapters, hinged basket for easier bag removal, and 316 stainless steel basket. FLV Series Hayward filter vessels are available from 1-1/4" to 2" pipe sizes rated up to 100 GPM and 2-1/2" to 4" pipe sizes rated up to 150 GPM. They come with FPM seals standard with EPDM available. They are pressure rated to 150 PSI at 70°F non-shock. For FLV Series bag filters, Hayward® offers a wide selection of bag filters with different construction materials, threading or weaving style and different pore filtration sizes that range from as small as 1 micron up to 800 microns in width. - Hayward® CFLV Series – CFLV Series are cartridge filter type filter vessels. The CFLV Series features an internal chamber with upper and lower connectors designed for installation and use with filter cartridges. They allow for single 7" or multiple (5) 2-1/2" cartridges. They are ideal for use with pleated, meltblown or spin wounded cartridge filters. CFLV Series filter vessels come in platinum GFPP with GFPP material threaded or flanged inlet and outlet connections. True union style hookups are available on some models. The CFLV Series also has the option for PVC or CPVC material socket connections. Additional options include: vent gauge with gauge guard, pressure differential gauge with switch and multiple cartridge adapters options. CFLV Series Hayward filter vessels are available from 1-1/4" to 2" pipe sizes rated up to 100 GPM and 2-1/2" to 4" pipe sizes rated up to 150 GPM. They come with FPM seals standard with EPDM available. They are pressure rated to 150 PSI at 70°F non-shock. Hayward® provides a professional selection of cartridge filters designed to handle different application requirements. They come in various dimensions and micron filtration sizes.
