Hayward True Union Solenoid Valves
Bidding a job & need contractor pricing?
We've got you covered!

Hayward true union solenoid valves (SV Series) are used for automated flow control in aggressive and demanding fluid systems. These heavy duty solenoid valves are engineered to deliver consistent on/off operation without the common drawbacks of standard solenoid valves. Unlike traditional valves that require a pressure differential to operate, Hayward’s unique coil technology delivers reliable performance regardless of system pressure and completely eliminates the risk of valve sticking or "chattering."
Built for complex industrial piping systems, the Hayward true union solenoid valve is not affected by downstream restrictions caused by nozzles, flowmeters, or other equipment. The coil design is made to operate at lower temperatures with a 100% continuous duty rating, so valves won't overheat during extended cycles. The Hayward SV Series provides the durability and precision automation needed for chemical dosing lines, water treatment processes, or corrosive fluid handling.
Features & Options
- No Pressure Differential Required: Reliable opening and closing regardless of system pressure fluctuations, ideal for gravity fed or low pressure applications.
- True Union Design: Provides easy installation and maintenance by allowing valve body removal without having to break down the entire system.
- Corrosion Resistant: A molded polyester housing completely encloses the coil assembly and electronics for harsh chemical and corrosion protection.
- Continuous Duty: Unique coil design runs cooler than standard models and provides 100% continuous duty rating without risk of burnout.
- Simplified Maintenance: Easy to replace, one piece seal cartridge and plunger assembly for quick valve servicing and operation return with minimal downtime.
Specifications:
- Pressure Rating: 150 PSI @ 70°F.
