The Eaton Model 72 simplex basket strainer is perfect for applications in which the line can be temporarily shut down for cleaning or replacing the strainer basket. The large basket capacity that these strainers allow is one of the main reasons for it’s popularity. Another one of the Model 72’s advantages is no tools are needed to open and close the cover of the strainer. Lastly, the quick swinging yoke can be opened quickly for disassembly and basket removal. These strainers come in sizes from 3/8” to 8” and are offered with threaded or flanged connections. The threaded connections are offered on the sizes from 3/8” to 3” and flanged connections offered on sizes 1” to 8”.
